Our Services
Surmer provides technology consulting services including website development, custom software solutions, and AI implementation. The specific scope, deliverables, and terms for each project will be outlined in a separate agreement or statement of work.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Surmer and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of custom work created specifically for their project, as outlined in the project agreement.
- Surmer retains the right to use general techniques, knowledge, and non-confidential elements for future projects.
Client Responsibilities
When engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Respond to requests for feedback and approvals in a timely manner
- Ensure you have the rights to any content you provide
- Make payments according to agreed terms
- Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
Payment Terms
Payment terms, including amounts, schedules, and methods, will be specified in individual project agreements. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Late payments may incur additional charges and may result in work being paused.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Surmer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. We expect clients to maintain confidentiality regarding our proprietary methods and processes.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice as specified in that agreement. Upon termination, the client shall pay for all work completed up to the termination date.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
